   Arkansas NRHP Database
     This database has information about sites and districts (at times extensive), but doesn't have narratives
   Historic District Database
     Lists contributing properties of districts and includes PDF map, but no general information.

Colorado
   CO Listed Properties
     Minimally helpful at this time; only a few have attached narratives, but they are being added

Georgia
   Natural, Archaeological, and Historic Resources GIS (NAHRGIS)
     Can search by map or site query; not sure if contributing buildings are listed

Hawaii
   Hawaii and National Register of Historic Places
     At this time this is only a listing of historic places and districts, however, they do have newly
     designated NRHP; Look for the "Architecture" section on the menu

Illinois
   Historic Architectural/Archeological Resources Geographic Information System (HAARGIS)
     Some listings are on the state register only so read the fine print

Kansas
   Kansas National Register Database
     Some, but not all district listings include lists of contributing properties

Louisiana
   Louisiana National Register of Historic Places
     One of the best out there - includes, narratives and photos of properties

Michigan
   Historic Sites Online
     A little cumbersome, but good narratives are available

Minnesota
   Minnesota's National Register Properties
     An excellent, intuitive database

Missouri
   Missouri National Register Listings
     Links for the complete nomination forms for many of the sites and districts

New York
   New York's Document Imaging Project
     Includes both state and National Register properties

Ohio
   Ohio National Register District Address Finder
     Find district on map; select the "i" button; click district; status of all properties within district will be listed

Texas
   Texas Historic Sites Atlas
     See bottom of results page for link to a district or property's narrative

Washington
   Washington Information System: Architectural and Archaeological Records Data (WISAARD)
     Lists all state and national historic places and districts and gives link to site's online narrative

Washington, D.C.
   Maps of D.C. Historic Districts
     PDF maps giving boundaries of the districts; Contributing properties aren't identified

Wisconsin
   Wisconsin Architecture and History Inventory (AHI)
   Wisconsin National Register of Historic Places
     These can be difficult to use so be ready to spend some time learning your way around
