Waymarking Blogs
Wayward's (Hikenutty's) Blog
On our blog Janell writes about current waymarking topics, our latest waymarking adventures
in the Seattle/Tacoma area and on the road, and on occasion goes on a tear about something in waymarking
that irritates her. The blog is updated 2-3 times weekly and is worth adding to your favorites list.
In our opinion, of course. :)
Live Journal Waymarking
The waymarker Occam started this Waymarking community on live journal. Visit to find links to latest waymarking
happenings, cool sites, and to speak your mind on current waymarking issues.
Mr. O's Waymarking Journal
Mr. O is another active waymarker who you may recognize from the forums. His blog
is regularly updated and tells of his waymarking adventures in his home state of Ohio.
Team TGF's Blogspot
Team TGF hails from Johannesburg, South Africa, and his blog follows a similar format to Wayward's blog, with regularly updated
feature waymarks and photos, along with featured geocaches.
Where in the World is Rose Red? This Vancouver, Washington/Portland, Oregon waymarker and geocacher
is a hardcore Groundspeak gamer, putting in an average of 20 hours a week waymarking and caching. This
blog follows her waymarking travels, with a few history lessons along the way.

Location Game Links
Waymarking
If you've made it this far into this Website, I'm pretty sure that you know what waymarking is.
Bookcrossing
A book-sharing and tracking Website. Release a book into the wild and see where it ends up.
Degree Confluence Project This group seeks to find and photograph every confluence on earth's landmasses.
Find an unmarked confluence or log your visit to a marked one.
Geocaching
Groundspeak's "other" game. :) This game is like a treasure hunt and has you searching for caches of trading
items left by other geocachers. Waymarking found its beginnings here in the original "locationless" caches of the site.
Phototag
In this game disposable cameras travel the world and when they're full their pics are posted to the site.
Where's George?
Ever wonder where your money ends up? "Where's George?" allows you to follow its trail.
Yellow Arrow
Yellowarrow.net is another place where you can share favorite locations. In this game you mark the spot with a coded
yellow arrow sticker that has its own webpage on the Website.

Other Fun Spots
Adventures of Tioga and George
Follow George and his favorite RV Tioga on their vagabonding journeys around North America.
Burt the Zombie's Blog
Burt the Zombie is an avid world traveler and his hilarious blog about his travels is worth a spot on your favorite
list. Follow him around the world as he taste tests the brains of different countries. It's updated
about once a month, but worth the wait.
"Waymarker's of the World" map
This is a map of the locations of the waymarkers around the world. Geotrailblazer started it on Frappr and
so far there are quite a few people who have added themselves. Go to the map to add an icon where
your home base is. Click around on the other icons to see who's
waymarking where. Very fun!
Flickr's Waymarking photo group
Waymarking is a very visual hobby and attracts plenty of amateur photographers. Waymarker, Ambrosia, started
a group on Flickr as a spot for fellow waymarkers to share their favorite shots.
Flickr's Traveling Gnome group: Home for Gnomes
Here's another Flickr group - this one for fans of traveling gnomes. Our signature item is a traveling gnome
so we're quite fond of the wacky gnome photos that show up in this group.
Hikenutty's waymarking photos
We take a LOT of photo's while we're out waymarking, and we keep our favorites in a set on Flickr.
Route 66 Blog
Waymarker TravisGood blogged his way across the United States on historic Route 66. Here you'll find some great pics
and be able to follow his journey from Illinois to California.
